After 6 consecutive days of 3 major floods, on October 13, many areas in Quang Tri were still submerged in deep water. Although the rain has subsided since this afternoon, the water has receded one meter compared to the peak of flooding on October 12, but the area along the Thach Han River is still surrounded by water.
At Thanh Co Bridge in Quang Tri City, many cars find a place to park on the bridge because the commune road has been flooded to a depth of 0.5-1m. The road from National Highway 1 through Quang Tri City to Trieu Thanh Commune (Trieu Phong District) is also deeply flooded, so people can only travel by boat.
Meanwhile, the communes of the Trieu Phong district are the most flooded areas. Many villages were divided due to the large amount of water. Many areas have been cut off by flooding in the past six days.
