Republican candidate Donald Trump kicked off his first election event in Florida since the Covid-19 announcement, which marks his return in the race for the 2020 United States presidential election.
President Donald Trump spoke with thousands of campaign supporters at Orlando Sanford International Airport, Florida, on October 12. The crowds were close together and most were not wearing masks, despite the risk of Covid-19 infection.
This is President Trump’s first campaign since announcing a positive test for the corona virus on October 1. After more than 3 days of treatment in the hospital, Trump declared himself fully recovered and ready to return to the race for the White House.
White House physician Sean Conley confirmed on November 10 that President Trump is no longer capable of contracting the virus and that he may restart electoral activities starting this week. The president also claimed that he was “immune” and completely “negative” to Covid-19.
“It’s wonderful to return to my home state, Florida, to mark my official return to running,” President Donald Trump announced to the crowd on December 10.
“We are doing much better than in 2016. We are going to have a bigger victory than we had four years ago,” Trump announced while alongside Air Force One.
In his campaign in Florida, the president said he was “empowered” by the prayers and support of his voters.
“Now they say that I am immune. I feel very strong. I will kiss the entire audience. I will kiss beautiful men and women, everyone. I will kiss you passionately, ”Trump told supportive voters, many of whom took 3-4 hours to wait for the president’s speech.
During his speech in Florida, President Trump continued to return to familiar topics. He attacks his rival Joe Biden, referring to the US stock market and the Supreme Court judge candidate.
Trump also criticized the media for reporting on his Covid-19 infection. The president vowed to have a Covid-19 vaccine available soon to the American people.
President Trump does not wear a mask when he speaks. It describes the race for the White House with Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden as “the most important in the history of the United States.”
