Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, received the first meeting of the City Party Committee, term 17, to continue to hold this position during the new term.
The organizing committee of the Hanoi Party Committee congress announced the content on the morning of October 13. Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue was elected Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, mandate 17 with 71/71 (100%) votes.

The meeting also elected Mr. Chu Ngoc Anh (Chairman of the City People’s Committee) to continue to serve as Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee.
The three new undersecretaries of the City Party Committee are Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan (Permanent Vice Chairman of the People’s City Council); Mr. Nguyen Van Phong (Head of the Party Propaganda and Education Committee); Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen (Head of the People’s Committee of the City Party Committee).

The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee consisted of 16 people, the Inspection Committee of the City Party Committee consisted of 12 people, and the Committee Chair was also elected at the meeting with a high consensus.
Earlier, on the afternoon of October 12, the Hanoi City Party Congress elected 71 people (out of 80 submitted) for the new term of the Executive Committee; in which 46 people are reelected, 25 first participation; 14 women (representing more than 19%); the average age is higher than 49 years, the age of 40 to 50 represents almost 50%.
Among the 2020-2025 membership, three cadres aged 30-40 include: Soc Son District Party Committee Secretary Pham Quang Thanh (born 1981); My Duc District Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Ngoc Viet (1981), Hanoi Youth Union Secretary Chu Hong Minh (1984).
Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue 63 years old, from Nghi Xuan, Nghi Loc, Nghe An; Professor, Doctor in Economics. He is a member of the Central Committee of the X, XI Party, a member of the XII period of the Politburo; Members of the National Assembly XIII, XIV.
After graduating from university, Mr. Hue worked for 22 years at Hanoi University of Finance and Accounting (now the Academy of Finance) with many different positions.
In July 2001, Mr. Hue was appointed Deputy Auditor General of the State; Five years later, he served as the State Auditor General.
He held the position of Minister of Finance from August 2011, until in December 2012 he was appointed by the Politburo as Head of the Central Economic Commission (simultaneously as Minister of Finance until May 2013). He held the position of Deputy Prime Minister from April 2016 to the present.
From February 2020 until now, he has been appointed by the Politburo as Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee.
