An uncomfortable Eric Dier foul on Lukaku in the 16th minute helped the former Manchester United striker open the scoring for the national team dubbed the Reds. He was awarded a penalty in the 39th minute when Jordan Henderson was fouled in the box by Meunier.
Rashford stepped forward to take the penalty and put the ball into the upper left corner. It took him 65 minutes to score a goal to take the lead off a Mason Mount shot.
Trippier tried to prevent the ball from reaching the end of the line before Mount attempted a shot through the Belgian defense, but Toby Alderweireld put his foot on the block, changing the direction of the ball towards Mignolet’s net.
In the second half, Belgium did not have De Bruyne’s service replacement, which left the attacking front lacking vitality and suffered a 2-1 away loss.

England vs Belgium evaluation:
England will look to rediscover their UEFA Nations League victory as they continue their 2020-21 home campaign against Belgium on Sunday night.
The trio are currently second in Group 2 of League A, having earned four points from their two matches thus far, while Belgium leads the group with six points earned from their two matches.
Coach Gareth Southgate’s army had to split points against Denmark, the misty island nation’s lone victory was not all that impressive when it only edged Iceland with the minimum score.
Obviously, this was not a performance that fans expected from Kane, Sterling, or Jadon Sancho. England’s biggest bright spot in the last two games comes from the defense they have yet to concede.
On the other side of the battle line, Belgium continues to maintain its great form with 2 easy wins, scoring 7 goals. Therefore, Roberto Martínez’s students are more likely to use the attacking style even if they have to play away.
