Doan Van Tuyen, project manager at Gemadept Company, said the unit uses three ‘super long, superweight’ special-use wagons to carry out the transport of the first three subway cars of subway line 1 (Ben Thanh – Fairy Stream).
Subway line 1 has 17 trains made in Japan. In the first phase, MAUR will receive and operate a train with 3 wagons (61.5 m long). With a capacity of 930 passengers (147 seated passengers, 783 standing passengers), the train has a maximum speed of approximately 110 km / h when traveling at high altitude and 80 km / h when traveling underground.
