Most parents think that the problem cannot be solved because the facts and the answers are different. There are many assumptions that have been made. One parent said this is just a riddle for students. It can be understood that there were 45 sheep on the boat, 5 fell into the sea. If the question is the age of the captain, then you can deduce that he is 45-5 = 40 years old (equal to the number of sheep left).

On the other hand, someone said that a captain must be over 25 years old to obtain a license. Or even someone gave the answer of 16 because they thought that just … at such a young age he lacked experience, shedding 5 sheep at a time.
