Regarding the specific results, Colonel Pham Quang Tuyen, deputy director of the Personnel and Organization Department, said that so far, the Ministry of Public Security has reduced 6 general departments; 1 unit equals the general department level; 55 units at the departmental level; 22 local fire protection units; 7 schools; 1,014 units at the room level and more than 2,300 units at the equipment level.

Mr. Tuyen stated that the organizational structure has been renewed in the direction of streamlining, synchronization, ensuring smooth and stable operation, reducing the middle class in many industries.

Regarding the reduction of payroll in recent years, at a press conference, the representative of the Ministry of Public Security also said that since 2015 to date, this ministry has reduced more than 30,500 payrolls, of which 19,000 retirees, plus 4,000 people leave the service earlier than expected, a simplified number is more than 6,500 and 1,440 people have a simplified employment contract according to a new government decree in 2018.

As of September 30, more than 43,000 regular policemen have been assigned to work in the communal police in the country, with an average of 5 regular policemen / commune. Until now, the communal police in all localities have basically organized a regular police force.
