“I will leave the wonderful Walter Reed Army Hospital before 6:30 PM today” – Mr. Trump announced the plan to leave the hospital at 5-10 AM (US time), ending more than 3 days of COVID-19 treatment. In Washington DC, according to Reuters reporters, security officials were enthusiastically preparing to welcome the return of the head of the White House.
The statement was made by Trump on his personal Twitter on October 6 (Vietnam time). A few hours earlier, the White House press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, tested positive for SARS-CoV-2.
“I feel great. Don’t be afraid of COVID-19, don’t let it take over your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some wonderful drugs and knowledge. I feel good.” more than 20 years ago, “the president of the United States confidently declared on Twitter.

The medical team treating Trump held a press conference in front of Walter Reed Hospital shortly after the president’s statement. Doctors confirmed that Trump had been fever-free for more than 72 hours and that his oxygen levels were normal.
However, doctors declined to discuss the potential danger the disease could pose to the president’s lungs or reveal when Trump’s last negative test was. The President of the United States and his wife tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 on 1 to 10 and were hospitalized a day later.
Sean. P. Conley, the White House chief physician, said Trump has received two additional oxygen supplements in recent days and some early therapies compared to the average person.
“He may not be out of the woods yet,” Dr. Conley said during a morning news conference on October 6. He then quickly assured that the president could still be removed and that he would be protected by the world-class medical team on duty at the White House day and night.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi immediately urged Trump not to politicize the corona virus and hoped the decision to return to the White House would be the same. Trump’s medical team insists he does not put pressure on the doctors who treat him.
So far, it is not known exactly where Trump was infected from. Meanwhile, the list of people with COVID-19 in the White House continues to expand on October 5 (US time).
After the White House press secretary Chad Gilmartin and Karoline Leavitt, who work in the White House press office, also had positive results, a source confirmed to Reuters.
