After obtaining information on a suspected Covid-19 case, CDC Hanoi implemented monitoring and sampling with 9 relatives of the patient’s family and at the same time carried out environmental disinfection in the surrounding area. The epidemiological investigation showed that before going to Japan, the young man had no contact with the patient and the epidemic area. And in Vietnam for more than 1 month there has been no community case.

Mr. Viet said that this is the 10th case of departure from Hanoi to Japan with a positive rapid test result for SARS-CoV-2. In 9 previous cases, there was a negative result after retesting by PR-PCR.
