According to the Bulgarian military, the incident occurred on the night of October 2 in the capital Yerevan, Armenia.
Some military experts said that the two intercepted ballistic missiles were probably of the OTR-21 “Tochka-U” type and that the distance from the coordinates of these intercepted missiles to the target was 50 km. This proves that the Armenian S-300 air defense system successfully intercepted Tochka-U a few seconds before the weapon reached its target.
