According to the contents of the case, on January 29, 2020, the ‘monkey’ Tuan came to spend the night in Hamlet 5, Tan Thanh Dong Commune, Cu Chi District. Losing all his money, Tuan went home to get an AK pistol and a bag of bullets and shot the players, killing 4 people and wounding 2 people.
After that, Tuan stole SH cars and 802 million dong from the victims and then went to Tý’s house, “she spied” to give the stolen money to Ty, telling Ty to return it to Tuan’s wife.
On the way to hide, Tuấn ‘monkey’ kept shooting and killing another person. After that, Tuan came and stayed at Vo Hong Tam’s house, met his cousin Nguyen Duy Thanh, and Thanh discussed how to help Tuan hide, but was unable to do so. On the night of February 13, the morning of February 14, Tuan defended himself with his AK rifle, for which he was shot and killed in Tam’s home.
Tuan’s actions have constituted the crime of murder, property theft, illegal possession and use of military weapons. Due to Tuan’s death, the police investigation agency suspended the investigation against Tuan.
19 defendants in the case are prosecuted for harboring property crimes committed by other people, illegally possessing military weapons, hiding crimes and failing to report crimes.
