According to initial information, around 1:00 p.m. this afternoon on September 28, when Mrs. Nguyen Thi Van (71 years old, resident of Residential Group 4, Ha Huy Tap neighborhood, Ha Tinh city) was in the house with his two daughters. Bui Thi Huynh (40 years old) and Bui Thi Nhung (47 years old), suddenly a suspect named Hai (Ms. Van’s former son-in-law) broke into the house, using a knife to kill them.

Ms. Van and her two daughters were later severely stabbed with a knife by Hai. After causing the crime, the suspect quickly left the scene and fled.

The 3 victims were taken to Ha Tinh Province General Hospital for emergencies immediately. However, due to serious injuries, Ms. Nhung died on the road.

Many people came to the scene to monitor information about the incident.

Upon receiving the news, the Ha Tinh City Police coordinated with the Ha Tinh Provincial Police Criminal Police Department to quickly report to the scene, investigate the case and arrest the suspect.

A doctor at Ha Tinh General Hospital said that approximately 14 hours the same day, the hospital received 3 victims in an emergency, but one person died. The other two people were seriously injured, in critical condition. In it, one person was stabbed in the stomach and the other had 1 punctured wound to the chest.

“We are an emergency surgery to treat these two patients,” said the doctor.

According to local people, Hai and her daughter Van were previously married but now divorced. At the time Hai went to find Ms. Van’s family, the suspect’s ex-wife was not at home.
