5 new cases of COVID-19 (BN1070-1074) are all imported cases, isolated in Binh Duong. As follows:

Case 1070 (BN1070): 27-year-old woman living in Thanh Phong Commune, Thanh Liem District, Ha Nam.

Case 1071 (BN1071): 34-year-old woman living in Thanh Phong Commune, Thanh Liem District, Ha Nam.

Case 1072 (BN1072): 32-year-old male living in Thanh Tuyen neighborhood, Phu Ly town, Ha Nam.

Case 1073 (BN1073): 25-year-old man living in Thanh Tuyen neighborhood, Phu Ly town, Ha Nam.

Case 1074 (BN1074): 33-year-old man living in Thanh Nghi Commune, Thanh Liem District, Ha Nam.

BN1070-1074 from France on flight VN5010 entering Tan Son Nhat Airport on September 25, was transferred in isolation immediately after entering Binh Duong.

Laboratory results on September 26 from patients at the Pasteur Institute in Ho Chi Minh City were positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, patients are isolated and treated at Binh Duong General Hospital.

With 5 new cases, the number of patients registered at the beginning of the outbreak is 1,074 cases, of which 999 have been cured. Currently, 19 people with 1-3 negative test results will be discharged in the next few days.

At home, after 25 days, Vietnam has not registered any new cases in the community.
