Nguyen Huu Hao Mausoleum is the burial and worship site of Mr. Nguyen Huu Hao, father of Queen Nam Phuong, and his wife and grandparents Le Thi Binh.

The tomb is located on the hill southwest of Da Lat city, on the way to Van Thanh – Ta Nung flower village, about 150 meters from Cam Ly waterfall.

This is a relic and scenic spot among the unexploited tourist attractions in Dalat.

Some widely shared documents pointed out that Mr. Nguyen Huu Hao was originally a wealthy landowner from Go Cong (Tien Giang province). He married Ms. Le Thi Binh, the daughter of Mr. Huyen Sy (Le Phat Dat), one of the richest people in Vietnam at the time.

In 1914, the Nguyen Huu Hao couple gave birth to a daughter, Nguyen Huu Thi Lan. In 1927, Nguyen Huu Thi Lan at that time went to study in France, 7 years later he returned to Vietnam and was married by Emperor Bao Dai and appointed Queen Nam Phuong. Ms. Nam Phuong brought her father to live in Da Lat.

In the last days of his life, Mr. Nguyen Huu Hao and his wife only lived in Da Lat, but they rarely returned to Tien Giang’s hometown. When he became seriously ill and knew it would be difficult to overcome, he wished that after his death he would be buried in Da Lat.

In the autumn of the year of the Rabbit (September 13, 1939), here Nguyen Huu Hao died, Queen Nam Phuong built her tomb in late 1939, continuously for 4 consecutive years, it was completed.
