Water rises and flows strongly in many areas of Dong Xoai City
Dong Xoai City leaders added that in the afternoon and evening of September 23, a large amount of water suddenly spilled into the Rac Stream (Hai Bridge) area in Tan Dong, Tan Thien and Tan Xuan. Many areas are submerged in water up to almost 2 m. The reason is due to heavy rains, flood water on top of the Rac stream flows.
There are 137 houses affected, many roads in Dong Xoai city are very flooded and cannot circulate; Some 230 hectares of crops were flooded, including people’s cashew nuts, rubber, crops and fish ponds.
The Dong Xoai City People’s Committee and other units have been deployed to the scene of the rescue, proactively overcoming and supporting people to set up utensils before the water rises.

Functional forces help relocate people to safe places.
The functional forces have saved 53 homes with almost 100 people. Currently, authorities in Binh Phuoc province continue to follow the flood control plan.
