Mr. Do Duc Duy was born on May 20, 1970 in Thuy Van Commune, Thai Thuy District, Thai Binh Province. Mr. Duy has a Master’s in Construction with an advanced degree in political theory.
From July 1994 to January 1996 Mr. Duy was a structural design engineer, HAAI Architecture Company, Hanoi Architectural University. From February 1996 to March 2002, he was a professor at the Faculty of Construction, Hanoi University of Architecture.
From April 2002 to July 2002, Mr. Duy worked as a second member of the Personnel and Organization Department of the Ministry of Construction. From July 2002 to February 2008 he worked as an expert in the Personnel and Organization Department of the Ministry of Construction.
From March 2008 to October 2012, Mr. Duy was Deputy Director of the Personnel and Organization Department, Secretary of the Personnel and Organization Department for the period 2012-2015. From November 2012 to July 2015, he served as Head of the Office of the Ministry of Construction, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction period 2010 – 2015.
From August 2015 to February 2017, Mr. Duy was a member of the Party Civil Affairs Committee, Vice Minister of Construction, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Construction for the period 2015-2020.
On February 8, 2017, according to the decision of the Secretariat, he was appointed to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Committee of the Yen Bai Party, as the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Yen Bai Party for the period 2015- 2020. On the same day In the fourth session (extraordinary session), the Yen Bai People’s Council, 18th period, elected him Chairman of the Yen Bai Provincial People’s Committee for the period 2016-2021.
