After the physical inspection, the Quang Binh Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Fisheries Quality Control took samples and sent them to analyze the number of snails that were washed ashore to determine whether there are toxins or not. While waiting for the test results, the Quang Binh Fisheries Department informed the localities where there were snails on land, recommended that people limit their consumption of this snail and proposed to the Quang Binh Department of Natural Resources and Environment Realization monitoring and inspection of the quality of seawater in the area where this phenomenon occurs.
