According to EVNCPC, right after the storm dissipated, the unit completed 24-hour power supply restoration in Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Da Nang, Quang Nam provinces.

Particularly in Thua Thien Hue, to fix and repair the power grid, EVNCPC has immediately mobilized the power companies: Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Central Power Service Company, together with 6 electrical construction companies , with more than 500 engineers, workers and more than 100 vehicles working day and night to quickly replenish electricity to serve people.

So far, after 3 days of active recovery, the power grid in Thua Thien Hue province has basically been restored to power supply.

Also according to EVNCPC, due to the influence of typhoons, in Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam provinces, there are 616 broken, falling and bent power poles out of a total of 531,135 power poles. In which, 304 columns broke (representing 0.06%), 169 columns collapsed, 143 columns tilted.

Among 304 broken columns, there are 34 post-tensioned columns, accounting for 11.2% and 270 ordinary concrete columns, accounting for 88.8%. Only Thua Thien Hue has 272 broken columns, of which 30 are post-tensioned columns, which represents 11.02%. Statistically, the proportion of post-tensioning columns represents a very small part of the total number of broken utility poles.

“From the actual inspection of the areas where power poles are leaning, broken, or downed, EVNCPC found that there are all causes for trees to fall on the line, causing abnormal double impact forces (stormy trees and fallen). lines) is too resistant to the structure of columns, porcelain beams, conductors … causing damage to the network infrastructure and broken columns ”- said representatives of EVNCPC.

Also according to EVNCPC, some power poles are located outside the residential area, in the corner positions, when there are strong winds and changes in the wind direction, the vortex and rope breakage is also the cause of the collapse of the column.

The EVNCPC representative also said that he had reviewed all the design, construction, materials and quality of the equipment, all of which were in compliance with regulations. The acquisition of electric poles was widely organized in accordance with the provisions of the Tender Law.

Through review, the electric poles used in the EVNCPC network are designed and manufactured to meet Vietnamese standards and TCVN 5847: 2016, 5847: 1994 and their quality is checked prior to installation.

“Before the annual flood and storm season, we all instructed member units to pay attention to checking and reinforcing critical locations; repair equipment, works, immediately handle unsafe cases. And at the same time a test of flood and storm prevention plans “- Information from EVNCPC.
