On September 21, the Tam Duong District Police (Vinh Phuc) confirmed that the unit prosecuted the case, prosecuted the defendants and executed an arrest warrant against Nguyen Anh Tuan (SN 2003, who resides in the city of Hop. Hoa, Tam Duong District) to investigate the crimes of “Rape of minors under 16 years of age” and “Forcible appropriation of property”.
According to the records of the initial investigation, in July 2020, from his Facebook account, Tuan made friends and got acquainted with VTT (SN 2008, Kim Long Commune, Tam Duong District).
After hours of flirting, T. accepted her love and sent Tuan lots of nude photos of himself.
When he saw that his lover refused to come home for sex, Tuan threatened to send naked photos of T. to his friends at the same school. Out of fear, T. was reluctant to go to Tuan’s house to have sex many times.
Next, Tuan also asked T. to hand over his phone, otherwise he would spread nude photos and clips of the relationship between the two on social media.
When threatened by Tuan, T. had to borrow money from his friends to buy a phone and give it to him. Upon receiving the phone, Tuan kept threatening and asked T. to give Tuan 3,000,000 VND.
Because he had no money and was unable to borrow money to continue giving at Tuan’s request, T. spoke with his family.
On August 11, when he arrived at the meeting place to receive money from his lover, Tuan was arrested by functional forces.
After completing the file, the Tam Duong District Police transferred this case to the Vinh Phuc Province Police to handle it in accordance with regulations.
