Case verification of motorcycle worker falling into deep hole in Binh Chanh district, Ho Chi Minh City

On September 20, according to Mr. Tran Vu Huu Duy, Chairman of the Vinh Loc A Commune People’s Committee (Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City), the local government is verifying the case of a young man who fell in a deep water well while riding a motorcycle locally. The victim was Mr. Le Van Day (25 years old; worker who rents a pension in Hamlet 2, Commune of Vinh Loc A). He was injured 3 points and is currently discharged from the hospital.

According to preliminary information, the capital’s water well is the Central Canal. This area has been invaded by people for a long time. Both the road and the canal are in the process of improvement and construction. But for more than a year, authorities have been unable to clear the ground. The Vinh Loc A commune leader said the CCP would post warning signs, erect barriers around this dangerous area.

Due to heavy rain and flooding, it is difficult for pedestrians to distinguish the crater from the road surface. Roads and canals have been recently improved and built, but there are no barriers or hazard warnings.
