Article 255. Crime of organizing the illicit use of narcotics
1. Those who organize the illegal use of narcotics in any form will be punished with prison terms of 2 to 7 years.
2. Committing the crime in any of the following circumstances, the offenders will be sentenced to between 7 and 15 years in prison:
a) Commit the crime 02 or more times;
b) Against 02 or more people;
c) Against persons of 13 years of age and under 18;
d) Against women who are known to be pregnant;
dd) Against detoxifying people;
e) Causing damage to the health of other people with an injury rate between 31% and 60%;
g) Infect other people with dangerous diseases;
h) Dangerous recidivism.
3. Committing the crime in any of the following circumstances, the offenders will be sentenced to between 15 and 20 years in prison:
a) Causing damage to the health of other people with an injury rate of 61% or more or causing human death;
b) Causing damage to the health of 02 or more people with an injury rate between 31% and 60%;
c) Cause dangerous diseases to 02 or more people;
d) Against persons under 13 years of age.
4. Committing the crime in one of the following circumstances, the offenders will be sentenced to 20 years in prison or life imprisonment:
a) Causing damage to the health of 02 or more people with an injury rate of 61% or more for each person;
b) Causing the death of 02 or more people.
5. Violators may also be subject to a fine of between 50,000,000 VND and 500,000,000 VND, probation or prohibition of residence for between 1 and 5 years, or the confiscation of part or all of their property.
