A total of 25 suspects were arrested during Operation “Black Phoenix,” said Thom Mrozek, a spokesman for the California state attorney’s office, according to the East Bay Times news site on Sept. 17.
Among the suspects arrested are two Vietnamese named Dau Quay Duong (53 years old) and Christopher Nguyen (47 years old) in Ontario (California) who are being investigated for illegal arms sales. The two men were charged with selling five AR-15 rifles with no make, model or serial number, Mrozek said.
Police also seized 12 kg of methamphetamine (methamphetamine), 100 g of cocaine and 16 weapons during the execution of the house search warrants, Mrozek said.

Mrozek added that the suspects were charged with a variety of charges, including drug trafficking. Each person faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison.
Some people can be sentenced to longer sentences due to a high criminal record, Mrozek said.
