2 plans for the Tan Suu Lunar New Year holiday
The proposed vacation schedule is based on Clause 3 of Article 112 of the Labor Code. In the draft Consultation Proposal, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs proposes two plans for holidays with different number of days off before Tet.
Option 1: Take 2 days off at the end of the year for Canh Ty and the first 3 days of the year for Tan Suu. Consequently, public officials and employees take the Lunar New Year holiday for 7 consecutive days.
The subjects of adjustment of the proposal for the Lunar New Year holiday are cadres, civil servants, public employees and employees of administrative, non-commercial agencies, political organizations and socio-political organizations.
Because the second and third days of the Lunar New Year (that is, February 13-14, 2021) coincide with Saturdays and Sundays as weekends, civil servants and public employees will take compensatory leave on the fourth and fifth days. Lunar New Year (that is, February 15-16, 2021).

Because the second and third days of the Lunar New Year (that is, February 13-14, 2021) coincide with Saturdays and Sundays as weekends, civil servants and public employees will take compensatory leave on the fifth and fifth days . 6 Lunar New Year (that is, from February 16 to 17, 2021 of the solar calendar).
Suggest selection plan
Also in the draft Proposal to the Government, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs proposed to the Prime Minister to select Option 1.
The reason for the proposal is to ensure compliance with the law, both harmonious and appropriate because the number of days off before Tet is not too short, the number of days off after Tet includes 3 days of Tet and 2 days of compensation ( Saturday – Sunday) is suitable.
In this way, employees will take the initiative in travel time, passenger transport will also help reduce the pressure on Tet.
