The landscape of New York, especially the financial center of Manhattan, has changed dramatically after 19 years. The series of photos compiled by Business Insider on September 10, 2020 clearly shows this.

Over the past 19 years, the former site of the World Trade Center Twin Towers (WTC, 1973-2001) has become a memorial to the 2,977 people who died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

New buildings have also been constructed to soar into the sky, creating an entirely new horizon (artificial horizon created by the overall structure) for the financial center of Manhattan.

In December 2003, the design for World Trade Center One (also known as the Freedom Tower) was finally announced. But until June 2010, this skyscraper gradually emerged. This is the main building of 7 new World Trade Centers built on the old Twin Towers of the World Trade Center (WTC).

After that, other World Trade Centers and Monuments, museums, performing arts centers, the WTC transportation hub, and Freedom Park continued to sprout up at the previous location.
