Hanoi girl was nCoV positive when she arrived in France

The 25-year-old international student who entered France on September 4 with a positive RT-PCR test for nCoV is in quarantine.

The Hanoi Health Department on the afternoon of 9/9 said that this girl was located in Thach That district. The health sector is working with units to investigate cases involving girls for surveillance, isolation and sampling.

Girl studied master’s degree in Korea, two-year study program. According to the study program, in the last year, international students go to France and Spain to study.

At the end of May, he returned from Korea to Vietnam, concentrated in isolation in the Hoa Vang district of Da Nang city, conducted two tests, and the results were negative. She returned home to Thach That District, Hanoi, on June 10. Since then, he has not traveled far, at least he went out, he only went to orthodontics in Hanoi and applied for a visa for France. On September 3, he flew from Noi Bai International Airport to France on Quatar Airlines flight QR977, passed through Qatar airport for two hours, and then arrived in France.

After arriving in France, he obtained samples for testing for nCoV on September 4 using RT-PCR. On September 8, the positive nCoV result, the girl isolated in the school dormitory, showed no symptoms.

This student did not take the nCoV test before leaving.

Currently, CDC Hanoi and Thach That District Medical Center, Cau Giay District Medical Center, have identified 12 people related to this international student. Samples were taken for RT-PCR, awaiting results.
