Martyn Green, a resident of New Brighton, Merseyside, England, discovered the strange creature on the beach at Caernarfon, North Wales, while on vacation with his family on September 7. At first, Martyn assumed it was a large log washed ashore. But on closer inspection, the 47-year-old noticed a multitude of small tentacled creatures attached to the large trunk.
“When the family was walking on the beach, my wife yelled loudly and pointed to the log. We went to see it and we felt like a foreign object,” Green said.
After Googling, Martyn’s son Daniel discovered that the creature clinging to the log was geese. This rare species is worth around $ 32.4 each. Martyn estimates that the log has about 2,000 hippos and its total value could reach $ 64,807. Martyn shared images of geese on social media Facebook. Many of his friends were raving about this creature.
Geese geese are rarely found in large numbers on the British coast because they often grow in remote locations offshore. This is a water filter that specializes in sticking to hard surfaces like rocks and floating objects in the sea. Unlike many seaweed, geese depend on the movements of the tides for food. Goose goose is an expensive specialty in Spain and Portugal. Historically, ships docked in ports have been able to make a profit by shaving gooseberries off the hull.
