Since early morning, hundreds of police officers from many units have mobilized to ensure security before the trial of 29 defendants in the case that took place in Dong Tam commune (My Duc district, Hanoi).

29 defendants in the case all reside in Hoanh village, aged between 20 and 87, of whom 25 defendants were charged with murder with the maximum death penalty; The 4 defendants were charged against executor of the public service with a maximum penalty of 7 years in prison.

All roads leading to the Hanoi People’s Court are fenced and many checkpoints have been set up.

According to the reporter, from approximately 6:30 am to July 7, hundreds of policemen and soldiers from many forces were mobilized to ensure safety during the trial.

The crossroads to the Hanoi People’s Court is built with hard fences, around 10 soldiers are on duty to minimize the entrance of people to the court area.

Also, many roads like Ton That Thuyet, Duong Dinh Nghe, Pham Van Bach … are also strictly controlled; Shops adjacent to the Hanoi People’s Court were forced to close to serve the trial.

The scheduled test will take place in 10 days, from 7 to 17.9.
