In the case of Nhat Cuong, Major General To An Xo said the Ministry of Public Security had prosecuted 28 defendants for four crimes, including smuggling; violation of accounting standards, which causes serious consequences; money laundering; violation of the bidding rules, causing serious consequences.

Of the 28 defendants, Bui Quang Huy, CEO of Nhat Cuong, was charged with all 4 counts and is currently on the run, wanted.

To summarize the case, according to Mr. Xo, Bui Quang Huy took the legal status of Nhat Cuong to smuggle 260,000 phones and electronic equipment worth 3.2 billion VND, illegally earning 236 billion VND.
