153 people were isolated due to their connection to a 25-year-old girl from Hoa Hoi Commune, Xuyen Moc District, who just went to Japan to work positively with nCoV.
The Ba Ria – Vung Tau Health Department report from September 3 said that this girl entered Japan on August 30 and tested positive for nCoV. The Japanese side has reported the case to the Pasteur Institute in Ho Chi Minh City.
Ba Ria – Vung Tau authorities tracked 41 close contacts (F1), concentrated in isolation at the Provincial School of Medicine on the afternoon of September 1. Initially 20 people had negative results. 112 indirect contacts (F2) in home isolation.
Epidemiological investigation showed that on August 18, the girl took a 9-seat passenger car from Hai Tram (in Xuyen Moc) to the Consulate General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City for exit formalities and then return home. Four days later, the patient came to the Saigon Medical Clinic (Phu Binh Village, Hoa Hiep Commune, Xuyen Moc District) for a medical examination.
On August 30, he took a 7-seat car from Hai Tram to Tan Son Nhat airport to go to Japan, with a car with a friend in Vung Tau city. Before leaving, he stopped at a hotel on Yen The Street (Ho Chi Minh City).
Currently, Xuyen Moc District Medical Center has sanitized and disinfected patient-related places such as housing, Hoa Hoi Market, Saigon Medical Clinic. This unit also investigates and tracks passengers, drivers in patient vehicles; medical staff, Saigon Medic Clinic patients; coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh City health sector to investigate and disinfect the patient’s stay at the hotel.
On the morning of September 3, the total number of Covid -19 cases nationwide was 1,046, of which 746 cases of illness and 35 deaths. Ba Ria – Vung Tau recorded 6 cases, as the gas tanker’s crew members were isolated on board after entering on 7/28.
