Bayern Munich abruptly interrupted, determined to break MU on the transfer of talented midfielder Dayot Upamecano.

Bayern Munich is making Dayot Upamecano’s flagship race hotter than ever.

The sports daily said that the Bayern Munich representative had approached RB Leipzig to discuss the transfer.

Before that, the British press said that MU had reached an agreement with Leipzig and Upamecano personally, called a “beast”.

MU needs to add a quality midfielder, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is completely convinced by Upamecano’s performance in the Champions League recently.

However, Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff confirmed that there have been no formal negotiations on the future of the French midfielder.

Oliver Mintzlaff admits that the probability of Leipzig sticking with Upamecano is not high, but he won’t let it go easily either.

A few weeks ago, Upamecano extended his contract with Leipzig until 2023. There was a clause that broke the contract worth 40 million euros, but that did not come into force before the summer of 2021.

That’s why CEO Oliver Mintzlaff stated that any team that wants Upamecano this summer should offer the most reasonable price.

Bayern Munich plan to negotiate with Leipzig and Upamecano to finalize the transfer soon, and will only officially welcome the 21-year-old to the Allianz Arena next summer.

This is a win-win solution. Leipzig served Upamecano for another year, and the Champions League champs welcomed him as he matured.

Meanwhile, Upamecano will replace Jerome Boateng, who is 31 years old and entering his last year of contract with the Bavarian club.

Bayern Munich fully believe in their ability to beat MU and land Upamecano, due to the German football environment they are familiar with, as well as the opportunity to win big titles.
