On August 19, the patient developed fever, headache, and fatigue. On August 30, the patient was admitted to the hospital, examined, and quarantined at Hai Duong General Hospital.
On September 1, the Hai Duong Center for Disease Control and the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology tested the patient sample and showed positive results for SARS-CoV-2.
After that, the patient was transferred to isolation, treatment and analysis specimens at Dong Anh Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases. Test results on 9/2 continued to confirm Covid-19.
Patient 1046 Male, 30 years old, from Thai Binh. The patient is a member of the crew on board the Nippon Maru (ship awaiting the exchange of goods in Japan).
On August 30, upon entering the port of Nha Trang, quarantined immediately after entry, samples were taken at Khanh Hoa and samples were sent to the Nha Trang Pasteur Institute for analysis. The 2/9 results confirmed positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently isolated patient, undergoing treatment at Khanh Hoa Hospital for Tropical Diseases.
