CDC Hanoi’s chief accountant was indicted

Hoang Kim Thu, head of the finance and accounting department at CDC Hanoi, was accused of wrongdoing in the first match to buy the Covid-19 testing machine.

The decision to proceed with Hoang Kim Thu lies in expanding the investigation of the case. Violation of tendering rules has serious consequences issued on CDC Hanoi, Nhan Thanh Asset Pricing and Auction Joint Stock Company, Vietnam Trade and Scientific Materials Company Limited (MST) and related units.

The CDC case and several related units were prosecuted for C03 from the end of April, until now, the investigating agency has prosecuted and detained 10 people, including 6 people at CDC Hanoi, including: Mr. Nguyen Nhat Cam Director , Nguyen Vu Ha Thanh (Head of the Finance and Accounting Department), Le Xuan Tuan (Personnel of the Finance and Accounting Department), Nguyen Thi Kim Dung, Nguyen Ngoc Quynh and Hoang Kim Thu.

According to the indictment, the real-time PCR test system for Covid-19 prevention when imported to Vietnam costs about 2.3 billion VND, but through trade, to CDC Hanoi 7 billion.
