The Yen Minh (Ha Giang) District Police are investigating the case of 5-year-old Ly Mi S (5 years old, living in Na Tau village, Huu Vinh commune) and her grandfather Ly Ly Ly suspected of having been murdered at home.
Consequently, around 10 am on 8/30, people discovered Ly Mi S immobile on the ground, on her body with many wounds on her neck and face.
At the same time, about 5 meters from S’s house, people discovered that Mr. Ly Mi L (S’s grandfather) was lying unconscious on the ground, with many wounds on his face, neck and abdomen. There were blood stains around the scene.

Immediately after receiving the news, the victim’s family and authorities took Mr. L and S to the emergency room of the Yen Minh District General Hospital. At approximately 11:30 AM on August 31, victim Ly Mi L. died, while Ly Mi S. is still in emergency care at the hospital.
The leader of the Huu Vinh Commune People’s Committee said that the commune authorities reported the case to the district leaders and the district police.
The case is still being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
