Minh and Hieu – a 10-year-old couple at school, they wrote a story about filial love and piety. Now, the dream of going to college has come very close to them when they both achieved very high scores.
Specifically, Hieu took the exam in grade B with a score of 28.15 (Math: 9.40; Chemistry: 9.75; Born: 9.0). As for Tat Minh, a student with a disability from a young age also excelled when he achieved a score of 28.10, grade A (Mathematics: 9.60; Ly: 9.25; Chemistry: 9.25).
For the past 10 years, thanks to Hieu, Minh, despite his disabled legs, still regularly goes to school without a break.
Tat Minh dreams of passing the exam of the Faculty of Information Technology at Hanoi Technological University. Meanwhile, with the dream of becoming a good doctor so that he could heal and save lives, Minh Hieu was determined to pass the Hanoi Medical University entrance exam.
Be admitted directly, still determined to take the exam
Nguyen Tat Minh was born into a poor family (in Village 1, Dong Thang Commune, Trieu Son, Thanh Hoa), from the moment he was born, Minh was not as lucky as many other children. The disabled foot was unable to walk, his right arm was unable to move, hold or hold.
Understanding Minh’s heartbreaking situation, for 10 years, Hieu volunteered to help Minh go to school. With Hieu by his side, Minh seemed to have more energy and faith in life.
Throughout the learning process, Minh and Hieu have always been excellent students at the school. Both received certificates of merit from the Ministry of Education and Training, met and received gifts from the President.
Mr. Nguyen Tai Quyen, Principal of Trieu Son 5 High School, said that Minh is an individual student. As a disabled person, Minh was given the privilege of entering the school, but he disagreed and wanted to take the test as his friends. That year, Minh was among the best students with the highest scores.
The same was true for the high school graduation exam, Minh was especially exempt from the exams, but he was still determined to take all 6 subjects like other normal students.
According to Mr. Quyen, during a career orientation organized by Hong Duc University, Minh was a student favored by this school to enroll directly in the Information Technology department, but the student also refused and did his best to enter school. Hanoi University of Technology.
Sharing about this, Nguyen Tat Minh said, “During a student’s life, each exam is a memory, so I want to preserve those memories. Besides, I also want to experiment and test my ability ”.
Minh was also a little sorry that those scores are still not what he expected. The student trusted that Physics was long and took too long, so when he changed to Chemistry, he was psychologically affected, which made his work not what he expected.
Nguyen Tat Minh’s ancient dream was to become a doctor like Hieu’s dream. However, due to his circumstances, in grade 12, Minh went on to grade A and dreamed of becoming an IT engineer.
Minh’s mother, Nguyen Thi Ly, was anxious at the gate of her son’s college. “From now on, there is no longer Hieu to make legs for Minh, I am also very worried.
In the short term, the father goes out to drive Minh to school. When the father leaves, the father and son will probably not be able to stay in the bedroom, but living outdoors is also expensive while the family is struggling. The family wants to buy an electric wheelchair for their son, but she can’t afford it, ”Ly said.
“With today’s academic results, I am very grateful to the teachers and especially Hieu, who changed his legs to take me to school for the past 10 years,” Minh said excitedly.
Dream of becoming a doctor to treat Minh’s legs!
After 10 years of piggybacking to school, Minh and Hieu had the same dream of becoming doctors. However, due to the circumstances, Minh turned in another direction. Hieu still chose this path due to his dream of healing Minh’s legs.
“The dream of being a doctor was rekindled when I had the idea to treat Minh’s legs. And what I want is to heal the poor. There are many very unfortunate circumstances, serious illnesses but no chance of being cured, ”shared Ngo Minh Hieu.
Although he did not enter the same university, Hieu said that he would still be by the side to take care of Minh.
A compassionate-hearted young man, Ngo Minh Hieu, just after the final exam, went to work with his father outside of Bac Ninh province. Hieu said to take advantage of earning money so that when he passed college, he would still have a few dollars to help his family. Until now, even though he knew the marker, Hieu still hadn’t gone home.
“The school is not surprised by the test results. It is a learning process and we have also determined that Minh and Hieu may be at the top of the school’s highest scores and the results are true, “said Mr. Quyen.
Concerned about student Nguyen Tat Minh with his new surroundings, Mr. Quyen also contacted some of the school’s former students who are currently University of Technology students to help Minh in the coming days.
Mr. Quyen’s wish is for Minh to be supported with an electric wheelchair so that he can go to school without Hieu’s feet by his side.
