The 24 new cases of Covid-19 were quarantined upon entry, without being able to infect the community.
Specifically, according to a report by the Thai Binh Health Department and the Quang Ninh Center for Disease Control, 24 additional cases were positive for SARS-CoV-2.
These 24 positive cases were all passengers on flight VN0062 from Moscow (Russian Federation) who landed at Van Don Airport (Quang Ninh) at 4:40 am on 5/13/2020, quarantined immediately after entry and not potentially infect the community.
Flight VN0062 carried 345 passengers and crew members, after the entrance was isolated at 3 locations: Thai Binh, Quang Ninh and Hai Duong.
In quarantine, all samples were taken and RT-PCR test results showed that 24 passengers tested positive for SARS-CoV-2.
Currently, 23 of these patients have been transferred to Thai Binh General Hospital, the remaining patients have been transferred to Hospital No. 2 in Quang Ninh Province.

So far, Vietnam has registered 312 cases of Covid-19, of which 172 have been invaded.
