This student is guided by a 25-year-old teacher at a private educational institution in Incheon, western Seoul.

The young master was confirmed to have COVID-19 on May 2, after arriving at the King Club, one of Itaewon’s famous nightclubs, which is currently considered an outbreak. However, this person hides that he is a teacher and declares that he is currently unemployed.

So far, there have been a total of 13 COVID-19 cases related to the aforementioned teachers. Including 8 high school students.

40 close contacts of male teachers and another 378 students are expected to be evaluated for COVID-19.

The Incheon city government announced it would file a lawsuit against the teacher for fraud.

Locals and officials also expressed anger, saying that the Incheon epidemic would have been averted if the teacher had made a sincere statement in the first place.

Altogether the number of COVID-19 cases associated with bars and clubs in Itaewon has now reached 120.

This situation has worried many people that the COVID-19 epidemic will flare up again in South Korea, after settling in for a few weeks.
