On May 11, Toyama Prefecture, Japan police arrested inmate Nguyen Van Duc’s roommate, who was found in a sewer in a residential area of Akada.

According to the Mainichi newspaper on May 12, his roommate Ngo Cong Minh (20 years old) was arrested for getting involved in the murder case of the apprentice Nguyen Van Duc (21 years old), and then crying under a sewer.
Mainichi quoted investigators as saying that on the afternoon of April 1 (the day before Germany’s disappearance), Germany contacted a woman and said that she had been arguing with her roommate for days. According to Mainichi, after moving to an apartment in the Toyama city (Toyama Prefecture) prepared by the company from November 2019, Duc and Minh exploded.

According to Duc and Minh’s researchers and acquaintances, the two studied at the same language school in Vietnam, belonging to the same company as a cleaning worker after arriving in Japan in July 2019.
Autopsy results show that Germany died of blood loss due to acute injuries caused by sharp objects in the neck and abdomen. The Toyama Prefecture Police identified this as a murder case and established an investigative team. Fuji TV said the suspect’s information was transferred to the Toyama prefecture prosecutor’s office and will continue to investigate.
Japanese media reported that the body of Nguyen Van Duc in the city of Toyama (Toyama Prefecture, Japan) was discovered by an acquaintance who was under a sewer in front of his victim’s residence on May 5. Investigators believe the victim died about a month ago.
