Trump expressed his support for protesters in Minnesota, Michigan and Virginia when they protested to continue “community isolation.”

“Liberating Minnesota! Liberating Michigan,” wrote US President Trump on Twitter on April 17.

“Free Virginia and save your wonderful second amendment. It’s shaken up!” He continued, referring to Virginia Governor Ralph Northam last week who signed a gun control law. The second amendment to the US Constitution, which went into effect in 1791, protects the right to bear arms of civilians and soldiers.

Several people in Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio, North Carolina, Virginia and other states in recent days protested to prolong law and order at home. Some were carrying weapons, waving Trump flags and banners demanding that the government reopen.

“These people are expressing their views,” Trump said at a press conference on the Covid-19 deal at the White House on April 17. “I see them as very responsible people, but they have treated me a little rude.

The United States is the largest epidemic region in the world, with more than 710,000 infected people, more than 37,000 dead, and approximately 64,000 in recovery. Trump declared on April 13 “absolute authority” to reopen the country to restore the economy. However, before the governor’s coalition’s drastic response, he said he would let states decide how and when to reopen, depending on the real situation in each location.

Trump announced on April 17 instructions to restart the economy after Covid-19, describing the process of reopening the United States in three stages. The guide does not recommend specific opening dates. Instead, this plan encourages states to rely on their own data to make decisions.

Covid-19 appears in 210 countries and territories, causing more than 2.2 million infections, more than 154,000 deaths, and approximately 575,000 recoveries.
