Cabo approached the site of two landslides that buried 13 people with difficulty
On the morning of October 30, the People’s Committee of Quang Nam Province and Military Region 5 held a meeting to discuss rapprochement and rescue in isolated communes in Phuoc Son district. The team is on a parallel mission to search for 7 missing persons in the Phuoc Loc commune and more than 200 workers at the Dak Mi 2 hydroelectric power plant are isolated, of which 167 people have lost contact.
The government and military rescue nose followed the road to reach the landslide zone to find 8 people in Phuoc Loc commune. The search begins at 9 am. M. However, about 13 km by car, the road slipped. The rescue team then uploaded the motorcycle to the Phuoc Cong commune headquarters, on the road with many landslides, overflowing streams to reach the Phuoc Loc commune (about 15 km away).
At approximately 11:00 am, the delegation went to the foot of the Dak Mi 2 hydroelectric power station (3 km from the Phuoc Cong commune headquarters), then had to stop because the road was collapsed, some bridges were broken. The rescue team then divided the group back to the Phuoc Cong commune headquarters to ensure safety.
In Phuoc Son DistrictA landslide on the afternoon of October 28 buried 11 people in Village 6, Phuoc Loc Commune. To date, rescue forces have found five bodies at the site. In this commune, there was another landslide and two other officials died on the road to help people evacuate and avoid flooding in village 1, so far the body has not been found.
