According to the test results, as of December 2, Ho Chi Minh City had no new cases of COVID-19 infection.
Previously, from November 28 until now, Ho Chi Minh City recorded 4 more confirmed cases of COVID-19, especially this is a chain of infection originating from an immigrant spreading to the community.
Currently, the city is implementing specific measures to prevent and control the spread of disease.
Specifically, the city continues to expand traceability research, looking for all places of travel and contacts with patients (F1, F2); Concentrated insulation for all close contact. Currently, the health authority has identified relevant districts and districts to implement epidemic prevention measures, implemented epidemic prevention measures in the residence of patients and surrounding homes in accordance with regulations; hygiene and disinfection management, sampling and isolation at home for people living nearby.
At the same time, urgently inform people of each patient’s contact locations to find the contact person, notify the healthcare sector for medical advice, testing and quarantine according to regulations. .
In particular, suspend all patient contact locations to disinfect (residential area, 2 English language centers, cafeterias, karaoke, gym …) home screening and isolation tests for all contacts where the patient has been.
Also, transfer all quarantined crews at the Vietnam Airlines quarantine facility to the quarantine area in Cu Chi and close the quarantine facility for disinfection.
The city continues to investigate, track contact cases, quarantine, and take samples to test contact cases.
