Thirteen close contacts (F1) of suspected nCoV infection in district 5 were concentrated in isolation, 48 people with indirect contact (F2) were isolated at home.
The information was shared by the representative of the People’s Committee of District 8 on the afternoon of December 28, when it came to the traceability of suspected cases of nCoV in the apartment on Su Van Hanh Street, District 9, District 5.
According to the District 8 Health Center report, the F1 cases (in the same hotel, motorcycle taxi, drinker, restaurant staff) were in close contact with the case at the hotel in the Trung Son area (Binh Chanh district ). Pubs on Bong Sao Street (District 8) and karaoke bars on Highway 50 (District 8). All of these 13 people were sampled.
This agency suggested that the aforementioned locations suspend operations to spray sanitizers, sanitizers, and sanitizers. At the same time, the county will report all suspected cases of infection, so the contact person will report to the local health station where they reside.
A karaoke bar in Pham Hung Street, Binh Hung commune (Binh Chanh district) was also suspended due to an employee being one of the previous 13 F1 cases.
The suspected case is a 23-year-old man, a Vietnamese citizen, living on the fourth floor of the apartment building testing positive for nCoV on the afternoon of December 27. This person was determined to have been living with “1,440 patients” in Myanmar for about 3 months, then illegally entered Vietnam via open road. The young man is being treated at the Cu Chi field hospital, but the case has not been announced by the Ministry of Health.
The information from the epidemiological investigation showed that on December 15, this person went with “1440 patients” from Myanmar to Mae Sot (Thailand), at the hotel with 5 other people. On December 23, a group of 7 people from Bangkok arrived in Cambodia. After that, 6 people from the delegation returned from Cambodia to Vietnam (not sure by the provincial border gate). Upon arriving in Vietnam, the group traveled in a 7-seater car (white color, license plate and driver unknown).
On the way back to Ho Chi Minh City, “patient 1440” and a woman separated to go to the West. Currently, “1440 patients” are being treated in Vinh Long, the woman has been isolated at Sa Dec General Hospital (Dong Thap).
With regard to “patient 1440”, the Vinh Long province authorities identified this person to go home in Mang Thit district on 24 December. At first, he declared illegal entry into the Tay Ninh province border, passed through some towns and then returned to Vinh Long. However, this person said that he illegally entered the Long Binh border gate area (An Phu District, An Giang Province) and then passed through Tan An City, Long An.
Thirteen F1 cases with “1440 patients” are now showing negative results for the first time, currently in isolation at the medical center. More than 120 cases of F2 were isolated at home.
