On December 1, 2020, a patient from the United States entered Tan Son Nhat Airport on flight EK392 in isolation in Ho Chi Minh City immediately after entry. Test result of December 2, 2020 at the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Disease Control positive for SARS-CoV-2. Currently, the patient is isolated and treated at the Cu Chi Field Hospital.

– Case 1361 (BN1361) registered in the city of Da Nang: Male, 48 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in the city of Phan Thiet, Binh Thuan province. The patient from the United States who transited through South Korea, then entered Da Nang Airport on flight VN431 on December 1, 2020, was quarantined in Da Nang City immediately after entry. Test results on December 2, 2020 at the Da Nang City Center for Disease Control came back positive for SARS-CoV-2. The patient is currently in isolation and treated at Da Nang Lung Hospital.
