The rescue team will take them to the city of Hue to hand them over to the management company.

The rescue team also brought a body from the Rao Trang 4 hydroelectric power area. The body was taken to Binh Dien General Hospital (Huong Tra City) to examine the body and carry out death procedures as prescribed.

At 2.30 p.m. on October 14, the canoe rescue team continued up the Bo River to the Rao Trang 4 hydroelectric power station to search for and rescue the remaining people.

Also on the afternoon of October 14, Mr. Nguyen Cong Nam – representative of hydroelectric investor A Lin B2, said that there are currently 14 company employees working at the A Lin B2 hydroelectric plant isolated and lost contact last day. As of this afternoon, the authorities have not been contacted.

A Lin B2 Hydroelectric Power Station is 35 km from Rao Trang Hydroelectric Power Station, 35 km from the center of Phong Xuan Commune. On this route, A Lin B2 Hydroelectric Station is the farthest hydroelectric station from the center of Phong Xuan Commune.

On the afternoon of October 14, Major General Pham Truong Son, Deputy Commander of Air Defense – Air Force, said that the inspection flight in the area of ​​the scene of the landslide at the Rao Trang 3 hydroelectric power station recorded many very serious landslides.

Looking down from above, there are many landslides. However, due to the large amount of clouds, even flying at an altitude of 500-600 m is still unfavorable. During the flight, the flight crew only recorded groups of up to 3 members, with groups of 2. The force dumped supplies and medical equipment at the landslide sites and for groups of people below.

Major General Son said this afternoon that the Vietnam People’s Army Deputy Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Binh, will also be present at Phu Bai Airport. Currently, the flying units plan to fly back to the scene.
