The 8-lane extension (twice as much as currently only 4 lanes) has the starting point (Km0 + 500) at the position behind the Ba Dat Bridge, in An Phu neighborhood, District 2, HCMC. The end point (Km24 + 558) is at the expected intersection with Bien Hoa – Vung Tau Expressway, in Long Thanh City, Long Thanh District, Dong Nai Province.
Extension length: 24 km. Expansion scale: the An Phu – Ring 2 section (Km0 + 500 – Km4 + 514) stretches 5.25 m on each side to reach a size of 8 lanes, bed width of 36 m (excluding single lanes).
The total investment in the expansion of the Ho Chi Minh City – Long Thanh – Dau Giay Highway is more than 9.976 billion VND.
