On the afternoon of 7.12, the National Steering Committee for the Prevention and Control of COVID-19 Epidemics confirmed that a COVID-19 case was an isolated entry case in Da Nang.

Case 1367 (BN1367) in Da Nang: female, 29 years old, Vietnamese nationality, domicile in Dong Hoa commune, Thai Binh city, Thai Binh province. On February 6, the previous patient from Russia entered Da Nang Airport on flight VN5062, immediately quarantined and took samples for testing in Da Nang. In the 6.12 test result, the patient tested positive for SARS-CoV-2. The patient is currently in isolation and treated at Da Nang Lung Hospital.

As of 6pm on July 7: Vietnam had a total of 1,367 COVID-19 cases, of which 693 COVID-19 cases were caused by domestic infections. The number of new cases from July 25 to now is 553 cases.

From 6:00 pm on June 6 to 6:00 pm on July 7, there was 1 new case, all were immediately isolated entries.

According to the report of the National Steering Committee for the Prevention and Control of the COVID-19 Epidemic, on July 7, 4 patients were declared cured: BN1311-BN1250-BN1291-BN1234.
