An unnamed Belarusian taxi driver who helped police escape rioters during a protest against PU leader Alexander Lexander Lukashenko has replaced social media users who have shared footage of the dramatic event.
A 16-second video clip filmed by a Eurorado.fm reporter shows the movie-like business and defense, which emerged in the Minsk residential area on Wednesday evening, as the mob protested against it, an illegal opening of Lukashenko.
The video shows a young man being robbed by police, who then jumped into a taxi.
The taxi driver, who appeared to be waiting for the traffic lights to change, then gave a clearly divided second verdict, briefly advancing the pavement shortly after the pavement, despite police outrage.
Police in Belarus detained 364 people during anti-government protests on Wednesday, according to the country’s Interior Ministry. Opponents accuse Lukashenko, who has led his country for 26 years, of rigging the August 9 Gust presidential election, an allegation he denies.
Lukashenko, 66, was sworn in for a new term at an inaugural event without prior notice and was declared illegal by the opposition, the European Union and the United States.
