USA administered the first dose of Pfizer coronavirus vaccine


The rollout of the first coronavirus vaccine began Monday morning as the first dose of Pfizer’s drugs was given to health care workers and nursing home staff.

Doctors at Northwell LJ Medical Center on Long Island were vaccinated at 9:23 a.m. during a live independent incident with New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. “You didn’t pinch,” Cuomo said.

University of Louisville Hospital in Kentucky will receive the first delivery of the vaccine at 9:30 a.m. and at 10:30 a.m., three doctors and two nurses will receive the vaccine.

Vaccine doses are also expected Monday in Connecticut, New York, Iowa, Washington, DC and other locations in Michigan.

U.S. The rollout comes less than a week after the Food and Drug Administration authorized an emergency use vaccine for Americans for more than 16 years. The FDA-ordered pharmaceutical company carried 2.9 million doses at 636 sites across the country.

Pfizer, which produces the vaccine with the German company Bioentech, began sending doses dot directly from its Michigan warehouse on Sunday to locations that were pre-selected by governors and local health officials.

Pfizer said it would roll out a second batch of 2.9 million doses soon after the first batch. U.S. The government prefers to reserve 500,000 doses to avoid any shipping or delivery mishap.

Vaccines began distributing in the United Kingdom last week requiring two doses for full vaccination.

The vaccine is the first in the country to use genetic technology mRNA instead of viral components. Pfizer claimed that its tests showed that the vaccine was symp %% effective.

The FDA will hold a hearing on Dec. 17 with Moderna, who also developed the mRNA-based vaccine, possibly before approving an emergency for its deployment.

Moderna said its clinical trials show that the vaccine was% was% effective in preventing coronavirus and that vaccinated patients had elevated antibodies in their system three months after vaccination.

According to the World Health Organization, there are 52 Kovid-19 vaccines in human trials, and 162 vaccines in evolved development.

The vaccine is being developed as the UK is in the midst of one of the worst epidemics in the world, according to health data. According to the Coronavirus Resource Center at Johns Hopkins University, the United States leads the world with more than 16 million cases and 300,000 deaths.

As of December 13, there was a seven-day average record of 211,494 new daily cases, 106,656 hospitalizations, and 2,427 deaths, according to the Covid Tracking Project’s health data.
