US stock index futures rose and fell Sunday night after the Dow plunged more than 700 points on Friday. After dropping around 150 points at the beginning of the electronic trading session, Dow Jones Industrial Average futures YM00,
recovered to positive territory, but fell again about 55 points, or 0.2%, at midnight east. S&P 500 YM00 futures,
and Nasdaq-100 NQ00 futures,
removed too. Wall Street ended Friday at its lowest levels in about two weeks as coronavirus cases continued to rise in the southern and western states, casting doubt on a relatively rapid economic rebound. The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA,
closed 730.05 points, or 2.8%, less than 25,015.55; and the S&P 500 SPX index,
fell 74.71 points, or 2.4%, to close at 3,009.05, and the Nasdaq COMP COMPENSATED index in technology,
it lost 259.78 points to reach 9,757.22, from 2.6%. For the week, the Dow lost 3.3%, the S&P 500 registered a 2.9% decrease and the Nasdaq fell 1.9%.
