UPDATE: Disneyland Paris refuses talks over closing Walt Disney Studios Park despite cast member discussions

Despite ongoing Cast Member discussions about the possibility of a temporary closure of the Walt Disney Studios park at Disneyland Paris, Disney has specifically stated that there are no talks to close the park. That being said, we are not the only source on the story, which is currently a hot topic on several fan sites and social media accounts specializing in Disneyland Paris.

Disneyland Paris recently announced delays in opening for two of its resort hotels, with Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne to close for a season from October to March 2021. While both Disney’s Newport Bay Club and Disney’s Hotel Santa Fe will remain open to guests at Disneyland Paris , Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch will remain closed and has no set opening date. Even the grand opening of the highly anticipated Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel was quietly postponed to March 8, 2021 after a series of delays.

Between generally low attendance and the fact that the park is essentially an active building site for the upcoming Marvel expansion, Cars Route 66 Road Trip, and more, Disneyland Paris has a hard time attracting guests to visit Walt Disney Studios Park. Parkhopping is allowed, unlike at Walt Disney World, and the fan-favorite ‘Jungle Book Jive’ music show is scheduled to return on August 22 for a limited-time summer run, but it is not known how the park will ever perform run when running is over.

As always, we stand by our sources, and clearly there are plenty of other legitimate sources reporting this story as well to make sure there have been talks about a possible closure of Walt Disney Studios Park, but we are it owes it to our readers to inform them that Disneyland has reached Paris to say that this is false.

We will keep you updated on the status of Walt Disney Studios Park, including any unplanned closures – only time will tell.
