Amazing CCTV footage shows a woman fleeing her attacker whom she confronted while he was trying to rob her apartment.
The man tricked into the property on Hampstead Road, Kensington, and was caught on closed-circuit television using the doorbell system to enter.
The victim’s partner, who asked not to be identified, claimed that the thief “tried to tie her hands and put cloth in her mouth.”
But the brave woman managed to fight him off and flee the apartment, with CCTV capturing her running down a flight of stairs.
Once on the street, the woman, in her 40s, screamed for help as her attacker escaped in a waiting vehicle.
Police confirmed that they were investigating the aggravated robbery, which occurred around 4.50 pm on Monday, October 26.
They said the man tried to restrain the occupant before stealing three mobile phones and a quantity of cash.
He then left the apartment in the direction of Sheil Road in a waiting vehicle.
The woman was not seriously injured during the incident, but was reportedly shocked by her ordeal.

The man wore a blue jacket and a black mask.
An investigation is ongoing and forensic and CCTV investigations have been conducted.
Detective Inspector Amy Smith said: “I would appeal to anyone who was in the area around Hampstead Road or Sheil Road on Monday night and saw someone or something suspicious to contact us as they may have information that is vital. for our research. “
